Andrea Vigil was appointed by the Administrator of the Small Business Administration (SBA), Isabel C. Guzman, on September 27, 2024 to serve on the SBA’s Regulatory Fairness Board. As noted in SBA’s Press Release, Andrea joined the Annual Meeting of the Regulatory Fairness Boards with Administrator Guzman and SBA leaders to advise on federal regulations affecting small businesses. As small business owners themselves, Andrea and other Board Members work to advance regulatory fairness and serve as a resource for small business owners who believe they have experienced unfair regulatory enforcement or compliance actions.

Andrea experience in electrical, EV charging installation, battery storage, and solar contracting in Nevada will enable her to advise the National Ombudsman and Assistant Administrator for Regulatory Enforcement Fairness, Michele J. Schimpp, on matters of concern to small businesses related to federal regulatory enforcement actions, and report instances of unfair, excessive enforcement actions taken by federal regulators.
